UBSG facilitates and directs academic/curriculum-based sports programs that provide dedicated coaches and uber- educators for sports teams grades 3rd – 6th. The League of Academics and Basketball (aka The L.A.B.) has proven to be extremely effective at reshaping the mind of young athletes to prioritize education before sports.

While quickly growing in numbers and community support, UBSG works closely with participating school districts to provide a positive outlet for young children through education & athletics. As life coaches, we do not focus solely on the game. We are more dedicated to instilling concrete life skills within the youth we mentor while preparing them to be successful thinkers and influential community leaders.

Sports is simply the tool we use to bridge the gap with young minds in order to create such molds. Ultimately, our goal is to develop more diverse and well-rounded youth and impress the philosophy of “No Books, No Ball” into the genetics of our scholar-athletes. This will also serve as a gateway to revitalizing our unhealthy neighborhoods with members of our own community.
